| the new york times did a story on jbu in today's magazine. it's not as bad as it could be, i think. but when my sister texted to tell me about it, i felt a little ill with dread. oh jbu, how you have shaped me and helped me and embarrassed me from time to time. i tell you, it's like a family member. | | |

| usually when i am tired or my brain is otherwise messed up, i get songs in my head and often they are awful songs and dislodging them is beyond my ability. well that's happening right now. but it's not a bad song. it's a good one, in fact. just strange. Hotel Yorba, by The White Stripes. I wake up hearing it. Go to sleep hearing it. Something about the rhythm. A person can't get out of it.
I'll be glad to see you later.
Maybe it's about craziness and that's the connecting thing. Who knows. Cheers. All they got inside is vacancy. | | |
